It’s now week two of my individual Swim for MS. Ok, I can’t really swim because of the spacisity in my legs, but I can walk withe the resistance paddles.
My goal is to do 50 miles (that’s 3 miles/week for 17 weeks). I started doing laps in the pool at LA Fitness as part of my training for the MS-GO National tour next year, then I found out about Swim for MS to raise money. I’m asking for sponsors to pledge $1 per mile.
It’s a big challenge to do a mile at a time. That’s 132 lengths of the pool. It takes me about an hour & 15 minutes, but I feel good when I’m done.
I keep saying to everyone, just do some sort of physical activity, you’ll feel better! I’m proving that is so true.
