Have you ever gotten home & just thrown your car keys on the counter or wherever then the next time your leaving, can’t find them? I used to do this almost daily. My solution is to put a key hook up & make it routine to put my keys on the hook when I walk in the house. That way I don’t need to remember where they are. I have adapted this for all things. Everything has a spot! If something is “out of place,” I’m lost. It doesn’t matter where something goes, as long as it’s in the same place every time.
