Happy Labor Day!

I took the challenge.  As part of my training for the MS-GO national tour next year, I started doing laps in the pool at LA Fitness.  I can’t swim more than a quarter lap without my feet cramping up so I started walking with the resistance paddles.  It’s the same overhead motion.  I worked up to a mile at a time.  One mile is 66 laps in a 25 yard pool.  A lap is down & back so it’s 132 lengths of the pool.  It takes me about 45 minutes to an hour.

The pool is great exercise & you stay cool while exercising.  You don’t have to worry about falling either.

My challenge goal: 50 miles by the end of the year.  I plan on doing 3 miles per week.  It will be hard, but I am committed to raise a minimum of $1000. for the MSAA.  Now I have to get at least 20 sponsors to donate $1 per mile.

Enjoy the day, Ray
